Journalist: Women to Blame for Stalled Workplace Progress.
While writing about her experiences trying to break into the journalism field decades ago when organizations like the National Press Club openly discriminated against women, Wall Street Journal reporter and working mother Joann S. Lublin said she’s frustrated by the lack of women’s progress in the work world. "I don't blame such setbacks on misogynist men," Lublin wrote. "I blame complacent women. Too many women take for granted that they will enjoy equal status and opportunity on the job. They are too young to remember the barriers that their mothers and other older women battled years ago."
